The Major Gifts Officer (MGO) is responsible for managing a portfolio of high-level current and prospective donors, with a focus on identifying, qualifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding these individuals. The MGO will actively engage with key constituents and prospects, dedicating significant time to fieldwork to build relationships and assess donor capacity. The primary objective is to increase the number of major donors and inspire existing supporters to elevate their giving.

A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years’ of experience managing high level donor relationships with demonstrated success in closing gifts of $1,000 and above is required.  An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered in lieu of education.

Annual Salary
Pay Grade 107
Salary Range – $55,520 – $62,000
