United Way to host third annual Giveback Games at Acrisure Stadium
Who: United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer Linda Jones; Chief Program and Policy Officer Sally Ellwein, Next Gen Lead Donor Engagement Officer Camryn Lonchar; Next Gen Committee Co-chairs Emily Nally and Caroline DeFrank.
When: Monday, Nov. 24, 2025. Media are invited to attend between 6:30 and 7 p.m.
What: United Way will host the third annual Giveback Games, sponsored by UPMC, UPMC Health Plan and Highmark Health, on Nov. 24 at Acrisure Stadium. More than 400 attendees representing local employers will compete in games and activities designed to build teamwork, encourage networking and inform about United Way’s work and the issues facing our community. At the end of the night, one team will be crowned this year’s Giveback Games champions.
Why: Giveback Games is an opportunity for Next Gen donor group members, young professionals and their allies to network and work together to deepen their understanding of community needs. United Way’s Next Gen Ambassador Circle is a group of like-minded young professionals from diverse backgrounds who care about making a difference for generations to come. They give at least $10 a month to support United Way’s work and volunteer their time at one or more engagement events annually.
