Free Tax Prep Coalition:

Blueprints partners with individuals and families to break down barriers and create stronger, more stable futures. As part of the national Community Action network, the organization connects people with the tools, resources, and support they need to achieve personal and economic growth.

United Way funding supported Blueprints’ participation in the Free Tax Prep Coalition at two tax sites in Washington and Greene Counties in 2025. By providing accessible, no-cost tax assistance, the program helps individuals and families claim eligible credits, keep more of their hard-earned money in their pockets and improve their financial stability. The Free Tax Prep Coalition is part of the IRS’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, which engages volunteers to provide free tax preparation services nationwide.
