This funding will be used to purchase 20 to 25 heavy-duty pull carts for pantry shoppers who walk, helping them transport food and other essentials home. The grant will also support the replacement of 10 worn-out in-house shopping carts to improve safety and accessibility within the pantry. These upgrades will better serve seniors, immigrant families and others facing food insecurity in the Etna and Shaler areas.
