Community Food Solutions:
This grant will be used to expand fresh food production in the organization’s North Side community garden through the addition of raised beds, improving soil quality and clearing unused space. Funds will cover materials like soil, compost, tools and gardening starter kits, as well as labor for tasks such as brush removal and bed construction. These improvements are intended to make gardening more accessible and productive for residents in a neighborhood with limited access to fresh produce.
