Multi-year Grant:

East End United Community Center’s Exploring the World Around Us is an out-of-school time program designed to help students meet state and local academic standards in core academic subjects. The program offers students a broad array of enrichment activities designed to complement their regular academic day.

2024

Welcome Back Summer:

East End United Community Center’s Splashing Through Summer program serves students in grades one through five with opportunities for travel to the nearby Curfew Recreation Center for outdoor swimming while engaging in STEAM learning.

This grant supports summer programming that leverages swimming as a tool to promote health, wellness and social and emotional development among elementary school students. Through structured aquatic activities, students build physical fitness, confidence, teamwork and resilience, all within a safe and engaging environment.
