Community Food Solutions:

Jamar Place of Peace operates a food pantry and community meals program for Penn Hills residents. This funding will support the purchase of a van that will provide consistent food deliveries to older adults, families and individuals facing food insecurity in Penn Hills and surrounding communities. The van will reduce rental and insurance costs, improve access to fresh and specialty foods and help transport growing community donations.
