Multi-year Grant:

SOS Pittsburgh: Jewish Family and Community Services SOS Pittsburgh program provides assistance to people experiencing crises that leave them vulnerable to hunger and homelessness. SOS Pittsburgh addresses these needs by providing direct assistance grants, social work support and referrals to other resources.

JFCS Career Development Services: Jewish Family and Community Services Career
Development Services assists job seekers in our region who are unemployed and underemployed. The program connects individuals to skill-buildingand career programs to help them move toward jobs with family sustaining wages with an emphasis on equitable access and meeting the needs of underserved populations.

Training Program Emergency Financial Assistance:

Emergency Financial Assistance funds will help participants enrolled in Jewish Family and Community Service’s programs to manage unexpected financial crises and support their basic needs while working toward jobs with family-sustaining wages. Jewish Family and Community Services will distribute the funds to students to help with emergency financial needs, such as car repairs or child care, that would otherwise prevent them from completing their training.
