Mosaic Community Development Center’s After-School Program is an out-of-school time program that helps students overcome barriers that might otherwise prevent students from reaching their full educational and career potential. Programming focuses on social and emotional learning to help students explore their feelings and build relationships with classmates.

Welcome Back Summer:

The Mosaic Community Development Center is a tuition-free academic enrichment program serving underserved Jeannette public school students in grades three through eight. Through its after-school programs, Mosaic provides academic support, enrichment activities and mentoring that helps students build confidence, strengthen skills and reach their full potential.

This grant helps fund a summer camp for students in grades four through eight. The camp offers a well-rounded experience blending restorative circles and social and emotional learning with physical activities, fine arts and STEM. Campers also develop entrepreneurial skills by creating a business model, producing their own products and selling them at Jeannette SummerFest Days, giving them hands-on experience in creativity, collaboration and real-world problem solving.
