At Neighborhood Learning Alliance the High School University model seeks to remove barriers of cost, disability support, emergency resources and tutoring access that many students of color and low-income students face while pursuing higher education. By doing so, students increase their college readiness and become more competitive applicants. The program serves as a steppingstone to best prepare students to pursue their career and academic goals through job experience, college credits and by developing resilience.
