Free Tax Prep Coalition:

One Northside is dedicated to fostering a positive environment for the region’s diverse entrepreneurs and small businesses. Through a variety of programs and initiatives, the organization supports business growth, innovation and economic development, helping local enterprises prosper and contributing to a vibrant and sustainable community.

United Way funding supported One Northside’s participation in the Free Tax Prep Coalition at one tax site in 2025. By providing accessible, no-cost tax assistance, the program helps individuals and families claim eligible credits, keep more of their hard-earned money in their pockets and improve their financial stability. The Free Tax Prep Coalition is part of the IRS’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, which engages volunteers to provide free tax preparation services nationwide.
