Welcome Back Summer:

Open Field runs Future Forward, a program that supports more than 100 teenagers primarily from immigrant and refugee communities in Allegheny County.

This grant helps fund Open Field’s innovative program that combines soccer with college and career readiness, social and emotional learning and essential life skills for high school students who are immigrants and refugees. By blending athletic engagement with educational and personal development opportunities, the program empowers youth to build confidence, foster resilience and prepare for future success on and off the field.
