Supporting Community Approaches to Transportation:

The Veterans Mobility Assistance Program removes transportation barriers for veterans by providing reliable access to employment, healthcare, VA service connection exams and other vital services. The program offers personalized transportation solutions that address the diverse needs of veterans, including disabled veterans and those facing mental health challenges or financial hardship.

This grant supports the Veterans Mobility Assistance Program, which provides rideshare services, bus passes, gas cards, and vehicle repair aid. Prioritizing medical appointments, VA exams, and job-related travel, the program helps veterans maintain employment and health care, with case managers assisting in transportation access and scheduling.
