Multi-year Grant:

The Youth Empowerment Program (YEP), provides youth with access to healthy social outlets, mentorship, meals, field trip opportunities and more. Once a student reaches high school, YEP provides one-on-one mentorship to prepare youth for post-secondary education and standardized tests. YEP also assists with college applications and provides scholarship opportunities.

The Youth Empowerment Program (YEP) – Offers free and accessible out-of-school time programming that includes academic and social/emotional support, civic engagement activities, workforce readiness opportunities, parent engagement and daily meals.

Supporting Community Approaches to Transportation:

This grant helps provide rideshare services, gas cards, bus passes, and vehicle assistance to address critical transportation barriers and promote better health outcomes for mothers and their babies. For clients with language barriers, VOAPA also partners with a translation service to ensure accessible support.
