Heather L. Sedlacko, MSPPM, was named executive director of PA 211 Southwest in June 2025. She leads efforts to connect individuals and families to essential health and human services across the region. With more than 25 years of experience in human services throughout southwestern Pennsylvania, Heather brings a deep understanding of community needs and a passion for building accessible, person-centered support systems.

Before stepping into her current role, Heather held leadership positions at Familylinks, where she served as executive director of the Vintage Center for Active Adults. She also served as Familylink’s director of Aging Programs. She also spent several years at the United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania as vice president of Community Impact and director of programs for Seniors and People with Disabilities, where she led initiatives focused on caregiving, inclusion and aging with dignity. Her earlier career includes a range of roles across nonprofit, coalition and direct service settings supporting older adults and individuals with disabilities.

Heather earned her Bachelor of Science in human development and family studies with a minor in gerontology from Penn State University and a Master of Science in public policy and management from Carnegie Mellon University. Outside of work, she finds joy in spending time with her family and friends and getting out on the nearest river, lake or ocean.
