To fulfill their missions, nonprofit agencies often need specific supplies to support their clients and communities. In coordination with our agency partners, we have identified four collection drives that align with the greatest needs and are the most requested items.

Classroom supplies

Many schools struggle to keep up with the need for school supplies, especially those not typically on supplies lists. Help encourage hands-on learning by making sure classrooms have everything they need to be successful.

  • Class packs of markers.
  • Paint (tempera, watercolor, acrylic).
  • Construction paper.
  • Butcher paper.
  • Paint brushes.
  • Air dry clay.
  • Hand sanitizer.
  • Cleaning wipes.
  • Whiteboard markers.
  • Boxes of tissues.

New caregiver supplies

Programs such as the SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) do not cover the cost of necessities like diapers or wipes, making it difficult for some new caregivers to afford what they need for their children. Help us close this gap by collecting basic baby supplies”

  • Diapers (all sizes).
  • Baby wipes.
  • Diaper rash cream.
  • Petroleum jelly.

Cleaning supplies

Families often must decide between cleaning supplies and other essentials while trying to make their paychecks stretch as far as possible. Donating cleaning supplies is a proven way of ensuring that everyone has access to a clean and healthy home environment:

  • Paper towels.
  • Floor cleaner.
  • Laundry detergent.
  • Dish soap.
  • Sponges.
  • Dishwasher detergent.
  • Cleaning wipes.
  • Multi-purpose cleaner.
  • Trash bags.

Winter gear & supplies

Pennsylvania winters can be brutal meaning that there is always a need for winter gear. Staying warm is difficult for people experiencing homelessness and warming shelters are consistently looking for donations, for both children and adults.

  • Scarves
  • Gloves.
  • Mittens.
  • Warm socks.
  • Hats.
  • Hand warmers.
