Gus Faucher and Amy Crawford-Faucher bring unique perspectives to their roles as Tocqueville Society Co-Chairs. We asked them about their work and what they wish people knew about United Way.

We sat down with new Women United co-chairs, Megan Gilson and Tina Morascyzk, to learn what fuels their dedication to United Way, what excites them about their new leadership roles and their hopes for the future of Women United.

I felt extremely connected to the other volunteers working hard to source and package up the meal kits.

Coming from a service industry background, food has always been something I’m passionate about. It’s more than nourishment, it’s community.

Tocqueville donors Kate and Alex Gionta met in 2005. She was from Ebensburg, a small Pennsylvania town, and he was from nearby Murrysville. They met at their first job at KPMG and fell for each other and the City of Pittsburgh. Married in 2012, the Giontas have lived downtown for over a decade. Kate also serves on the Tocqueville Society committee.

Giving back isn’t a moment—it’s a mindset, and I’m honored to be part of a community like the Tocqueville Society that shares that belief.

Family is the first influence for most people and on this dimension of “giving back” family is where it starts for me.

Board Chair Stacy Juchno, EVP & General Auditor at PNC, has supported United Way since 2009. She shares how her early life shaped her passion for financial stability as a key to lasting change.
