Women United to host 2025 March Mixer & Shopping Crawl in Zelienople

When: Thursday, March 20, 2025, 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.  

What: On Thursday, March 20, United Way’s Women United will host the annual March Mixer & Shopping Crawl in the Zelienople central business district, Butler County. Women United members and friends will kick off the Shopping Crawl at ShuBrew. Other local and women-owned businesses participating in the crawl include Eva Bryn Shoetique; Spring Street Studios; Michelle duToit Collective; Urban Vine; The Nue Look At Home; Burghers Brewing; Della Terra; Stocking Stuffers Plus; White Deer Photography; Woods Lane & Co.; B. Aesthetic Lounge; CURIO Art Gallery & Studio; The Little Green Bookstore; Boutique Blue; Pape Joe’s Wine Cellar; Zelienople Historical Society; Love, Annie; Studio Z Yoga; Belief to Body; Scentcerely Yours Candle Studio; OOMA Boutique; OOMA Home; Northernness Coffee; and Grows on Main. There is no charge for the event. Attendees are encouraged to bring nonperishable food pantry items for community members facing food insecurity. Food pantry donations will be collected at registration and attendees will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win prizes donated by the participating businesses.  

Why: United Way’s Women United is a powerful philanthropic collective dedicated to meeting community needs and offering opportunities for women in business to connect, learn from and support one another. The March Mixer & Shopping Crawl is an opportunity to support local Butler County businesses and learn about how United Way is helping women and children in our community. United Way’s ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) data shows that in Butler County, 37% of households don’t earn enough to afford the essentials, despite household members often working multiple jobs. Last year, United Way invested $241,700 in 17 partner agencies serving Butler County.
