Supporting Community Approaches to Transportation:

Rise Up Rides provides essential transportation for Butler County residents who don’t qualify for subsidized transit programs but still struggle to afford reliable transportation.

This grant helps fund Rise Up Rides, a program providing eligible Butler County residents with transportation to destinations within a 20-mile radius of their pick-up location. These rides ensure access to essential services such as medical appointments, jobs, and other critical needs. Participants are referred to the program after all other transportation funding options have been explored or if they do not qualify for existing assistance. By filling this gap in services, Rise Up Rides supports the independence, stability, and well-being of community members who would otherwise have limited or no access to reliable transportation.
