Welcome Back Summer:

Amachi Pittsburgh empowers youth and families impacted by the criminal justice system by amplifying their voices, building a strong community of support and advancing policies that promote equity and justice. With a focus on breaking the cycle of intergenerational incarceration, Amachi helps children and families heal, grow and thrive beyond the trauma of parental incarceration.

This grant supports programming for K–12 youth that includes educational field trips, career exploration, small group workshops and community activities focused on promoting physical, social and emotional well-being.
