Impact Grant:
Positive Relationships with Strong Role Models for Westmoreland and Fayette Youth – Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Laurel Region provides children facing adversity with strong and enduring relationships that can change their lives for the better. The program provides supported one-to-one mentoring relationships using a tested, perfected and nationally recognized curriculum. The nonprofit works collaboratively with school districts and other community providers to ensure positive out-of-school opportunities for the youth who need them most.

Welcome Back Summer:
Little Things Make a Big Difference -Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Laurel Region implemented a thoughtfully designed summer curriculum that addressed the physical, mental, and social needs of vulnerable youth across Westmoreland and Fayette counties. The funding supported a diverse range of experiences, each led by trained social workers, helping children build social competencies, access learning opportunities, and improve overall well-being. These enriching activities provided critical support to families and created meaningful, lasting memories for the children served.
