Welcome Back Summer:

The YMCA Summer Day Camp program welcomes 200 students across two locations, providing a safe and supportive environment for growth and discovery. The Butler County Family YMCA believes strongly in the power of quality programs to nurture a child’s overall well-being and help build confidence, develop new skills and create lasting friendships.

This grant helps fund YMCA Summer Day Camps at Butler YMCA, Karns City High School and South Butler’s Laura J. Doerr Park, where children enjoy exciting weekly themes. From learning about their community through visits to local businesses and with first responders, to exploring the wonders of outer space, each week offers hands-on experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity and fun.

Welcome Back Summer:

The Butler YMCA Summer Day Camp offers a safe and engaging environment where children can explore, create, compete and learn. Designed to build new skills, boost self-confidence and foster lasting friendships, the camp ensures every child has a fun and memorable summer experience.

This grant supports the Butler YMCA Summer Day Camp, which will serve up to 200 students at three locations: Butler YMCA, Karns City High School and Laura J. Doerr Park. The camp features engaging weekly themes — from exploring local businesses and meeting first responders to learning about outer space — designed to spark curiosity and connect youth with their community and beyond.
