Welcome Back Summer:

Casa San Jose is a community resource that connects, supports and advocates with and for the Latino community in the greater Pittsburgh region. Casa San Jose’s youth programs create safe spaces for Latino youth to come together, create social bonds and receive social, emotional and academic support.

This grant supports Campamento Sonrisa, a bilingual and bicultural summer camp that serves elementary and middle school students. Funding helps provide a range of recreational and educational activities, including art projects, cultural enrichment and daily field trips to local museums, community pools and city parks.

Welcome Back Summer:

Casa San Jose’s Campamento Sonrisa is a free, bilingual and bicultural summer camp offering two four-week sessions for Latino youth.

This grant supports a bilingual and bicultural summer camp serving elementary and middle school students. The program provides a safe and enriching environment where Latino youth can engage in art, educational activities and field trips that promote learning, creativity and cultural pride.
