Emergency Food Assistance

Due to the government shutdown, 300,000 households won’t get SNAP food assistance on Nov. 3. Legal appeals may delay benefits, causing widespread food insecurity. Give today to support emergency food assistance and our 211 contact center, which has seen dramatic upticks in calls for food. Click here to give.

The Homeless Children’s Education Fund’s Teen Outreach Program addresses homelessness in older youth and young adults by providing them with the tools and resources they need to transition into adulthood with confidence. Staff members provide a foundation of support during these critical years, helping students graduate high school, gain their GED, apply for college and/or scholarships and provide a listening ear of support.
