Impact Grant:

Jubilee Soup Kitchen, located in Pittsburgh’s Hill District, is the only soup kitchen in the area open 365 days a year, serving three meals daily to those in need. In addition to providing food, Jubilee offers vital support services, including housing assistance, job training and its Path to Self-Sufficiency program, which helps individuals build stability and work toward long-term independence.

This grant provides partial funding for the purchase of a commercial-grade range and top-mount reach-in refrigerator to support Jubilee Soup Kitchen’s planned kitchen and dining area renovation. By upgrading equipment and redesigning the space for greater efficiency, Jubilee aims to increase its capacity to serve more people daily.
