MVI Workforce Development & Financial Coaching Program – Mon Valley Initiative (MVI) supports people as they move toward financial stability. Through its Workforce Development & Financial Coaching Program MVI provides participants with a path to improved career development and personal financial management skills. Services are provided through direct individualized coaching and in small groups. A vital component of this work is direct connection to employers.

Training Program Emergency Financial Assistance

Emergency Financial Assistance funds will help participants enrolled in Mon Valley Initiative’s programs to manage unexpected financial crises and support their basic needs while working toward jobs with family-sustaining wages. Mon Valley Initiative will distribute the funds to students to help with emergency financial needs, such as car repairs or child care, that would otherwise prevent them from completing their training.
