Falk Facilities and Technology Improvement Fund:

Propel Schools Foundation supports a network of public charter schools in the Pittsburgh area. Propel focuses on enhancing educational opportunities through initiatives such as after-school programs, literacy support, wellness programs, teacher preparation and arts education.

This grant will help Propel Schools expand its innovative on-site laundry program, which was piloted successfully at one school with the installation of a stackable washer and dryer. By bringing this resource to two additional schools, Propel will provide students and families with a simple but powerful form of support that addresses daily challenges.

Welcome Back Summer:

The Propel School Foundation supports students across the Propel network by funding innovative programs that extend learning beyond the classroom. This includes summer camps for rising first through 12 grade students. Students engage in enriching academic, artistic and recreational experiences that prepare them for success in the upcoming school year.

This grant helps fund Summer MAGIC camps that provide K-12 scholars with a well-rounded summer experience. Participants engage in social and emotional learning activities, explore hands-on STEM projects, receive art instruction and get targeted support in math and literacy. The program also includes weekly field trips and opportunities for physical activity.
