Falk Facilities and Technology Improvement Fund:

SisTers PGH is a Black- and trans-led nonprofit dedicated to serving the transgender community of southwestern Pennsylvania. At the heart of its work is a community center that offers a safe and brave drop-in space for transgender and gender-nonconforming individuals across the city and Allegheny County.

This grant supports the development of SisTers PGH’s new community center, the Stonewall Inn, located in downtown Pittsburgh. Designed to be a safe and welcoming haven for LGBTQ+ youth and adults, the center will serve as a vital resource and gathering place. Funding will specifically provide for the installation of a secure buzz-in entry system and surveillance cameras to support the safety and well-being of community members and staff.
