Welcome Back Summer:

Youth Opportunities Development (YOD) offers a summer program designed to keep students engaged and prevent summer learning loss. The curriculum is shaped by youth input and developed in consultation with teachers from the Clairton City School District to ensure that learning is both relevant and effective.

This grant helps fund YOD’s summer program, which provides students with mentoring, educational enrichment and recreational activities. The curriculum covers topics such as current events, history, world cultures, reading and Spanish, developed in collaboration with the Clairton Education Center to prevent summer learning loss.
