Called to Serve
If you’re a recent college or trade school graduate, you know how finishing your degree helps achieve financial freedom and pay off loans. But for many students, especially nontraditional students and those without family financial support, small financial emergencies like a blown tire or unforeseen caregiving duties can derail their dreams.
At United Way’s next Called to Serve event for young professionals, you’ll hear from nonprofit leaders who, with funding from United Way, are helping students overcome financial emergencies and complete their education. The evening begins with networking and light bites. You’ll meet new people who care about our region as much as you do. And you’ll hear how you can get involved and make our region a place where everyone can thrive.
