Tools for Schools – Day 2
Volunteer Engagement
Remember the joy of opening and organizing new school supplies? It’s one of the most exciting parts of back-to-school. You can give local kids a burst of back-to-school joy by volunteering at United Way’s Tools for Schools event. In partnership with NOG, Highmark Health and S&T Bank, we are bringing people from across the region to sort and organize supplies into colorful school supply kits stocked with everything elementary school-age students need to succeed.
We need your help sorting and packing bags of supplies for 10,000 local school students. The minimum age for this event is 16 – no children younger than 16 are permitted in the warehouse. To allow for maximum participation, please only sign up for one shift.
