Welcome Back Summer:

The Arc of Butler County’s AERO (Activities, Employment and Recreational Opportunities) Transition Summer Camp supports students with intellectual and developmental disabilities who experienced significant setbacks due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Designed to address learning loss and social development gaps, the camp provides essential summer programming that fosters growth, skill-building and connection in a supportive environment.

This grant funds the Arc of Butler County’s AERO Transition Summer Camp, a free two-day program with a reception night for high school students with transition needs. Held at Alameda Park, the camp focuses on daily living and career readiness skills, encouraging socialization and raising awareness of the Arc’s After School Transition Program in rural communities.
